Founded in 2002 and headquartered in Porto, Orbcom provides cybersecurity solutions, professional and managed services. The company employs more than 80 certified specialists across Porto, Braga, Lamego and Lisbon, with long-standing customer and vendor relationships.

Orbcom will provide Nomios with an established presence and strong local market knowledge, enabling the Group to enter and expand across Iberia. In turn, Orbcom will benefit from Nomios’ broader vendor accreditations, group resources and delivery capabilities to support the continued development of its service offering. Its customers will also access Nomios’ broader SOC, managed services and Identity and Access Management (“IAM”) capabilities.

Sebastien Kher, CEO and Founder of Nomios, said: “Orbcom has built a strong position in Portugal through its technical expertise and long-standing customer and vendor relationships. Its capabilities are highly complementary to Nomios and establish a strong platiorm for our continued development in Iberia.”

Helder Costa, CEO and Founder of Orbcom, added: “Joining Nomios will allow us to broaden the services available to our customers while creating new opportunities for our team. We share a strong focus on technical expertise, customer service and long-term partnerships.”

Jean-Christophe Cini, Partner at Keensight Capital, concluded: “Orbcom is a strong strategic fit for Nomios, adding complementary cybersecurity expertise and an established presence in Portugal. This acquisition opens a new geography for the Group and supports Nomios’ continued European expansion.”
